We’ve completed our first batch of vocal MIDI recordings! These project consisted of recording four demo tracks with live singers and high quality MIDI orchestra. The Spitfire Audio’s BBC Symphony Orchestra MIDI software we used is often used in TV and movie scores, including the Netflix show The Queen’s Gambit. Our goal with this proof-of-concept project was to demonstrate that the technology could be satisfactorily applied to certain types of Classical music as well. This technology allows us to leverage our social impact; we create more than twice as much recording-per-funding-dollar this way as we would hiring live musicians. Check out the recordings!
